Vaucluse
Summary of Fees, Contributions, Accommodation Deposits, & RAD Retentions
You are able to choose how you pay for your accommodation at Mark Moran Vaucluse. It can be paid either by a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP)*. You are also able to pay by a combination of both – our financial team will work with you to find out which method of payment works best for your individual situation.
*DAP based on current Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPRI) (Govt. set): 7.96% enter residential aged care after this date, and those who are currently in care but choose to "opt in" to the new fee arrangements.

RAD Retentions: (where resident chooses to pay a RAD)
Aged Care Act 2024:
- Annual retention rate: Provider will keep a portion of the RAD at a rate of 2% per annum, calculated on the daily RAD balance.
- Maximum retention period: Retention deductions will stop after five years for each resident.
- Reduces RAD balance: The amount retained is deducted from the RAD balance, meaning the refundable amount will be lower over time.
1. The BDCF, HSC, NCCC and DAP payments are all indexed twice yearly, (20 March and 20 September), in line with CPI changes.
Until the determination is made by Department of Human services the maximum cap will be applied to the agreement – any overpayments will be credited to the residents’ account or refunded.
2. The maximum NCCC that a resident can be asked to pay per day is $107.32, or per year $39,171.80. A lifetime cap of $137,917.01 or four-year cap also applies to the non-clinical care contribution – the fee ceases after a person pays it for four years, even if they have not reached the lifetime cap amount.

At Mark Moran Vaucluse, registered nurses are on duty 24 hours a day; seven days a week and are supported by our clinical team to ensure the best quality care around the clock.
On admission, a qualified physiotherapist will meet with you personally and undertake a detailed physical assessment to guarantee the best physiotherapy plan. Regular evaluations ensure a continual update of physiotherapy care is provided.
Our care model integrates Allied Health, hospitality, lifestyle and wellness services with traditional clinical care to provide a holistic and safe experience, ensuring comfort, happiness and health.
