THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for Full time, Part time and Casual Registered Nurses to work a variety of shift times, morning/ afternoon/ night shifts at the 3 facilities. We are looking for Registered Nurses who are committed to the care of our residents and who have the ability to build strong empathetic relationships. You will be supporting and assisting in the management of clinical services by providing and coordinating resident care.

Allied Health Assistant

Location: Warrawee

We are looking for a full time Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Mark Moran Warrawee, responsible for providing excellent, evidence-based care across our Retirement and Aged Care settings. This role will be working under Physiotherapist supervision and tasks will include:

Run residents exercise classes including general exercise, hydrotherapy, and falls and balance classes in a fully equipped gymnasium.
Actively participate in the organisation and implementation of therapy programs- as prescribed by the Physiotherapist
Promote therapy acceptance by residents.
Promote independent eating and drinking by residents.
Ensure residents have effective pain management.
Encourage and teach residents to maintain independent skills in daily living activities.
Demonstrate the provision of care that promotes physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual well-being.
Demonstrate therapeutic care and empathy to residents in a manner that brings comfort, pleasure as well as physical benefits.
Assist in outings where residents have mobility deficits
Record and document changes in ambulation and care required for individual residents in their progress notes and discuss same with the physiotherapist
About you

Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant

Location: Vaucluse

The Mark Moran Group – NSW’s most highly awarded aged care provider, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its team in Vaucluse in a full time capacity as a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant.

People and Culture Coordinator

Location: Vaucluse

The Mark Moran Group is an award winning retirement and aged care provider with three outstanding facilities across Sydney. We are looking for a proactive and passionate coordinator to work with the business to create a great employee experience.

The P&C Coordinator undertakes a variety of HR administrative duties. It manages stuff like employee records and supporting the recruitment processes across the Group, (like talent pipeline and sourcing activities). It has a broad knowledge of the entire Employee Experience (EX) and is able to see how all actions interact with one another. It works autonomously and efficiently for the end-to-end running of P&C projects and operations, all underpinned by our Values.

OK, that was the overview. This is a great role for those P&C practitioners who want to expand into a range of specialties. Foremost is managing EX at an administrative level, but this role will also learn about rostering, with the expectation that they will work closely with our amazing roster clerks and stand in for them during leave. They will sit in regularly on our frontline interviews and assist our sites with P&C expertise. Working really closely with the Payroll Manager, they will learn payroll and stand in during their absence too.

Training Opportunities

Are you wanting to make a difference in a rewarding career? Looking to return to the workforce? The Mark Moran Group is seeking new staff who have a passion to work with older people and who want to learn and gain practical experience simultaneously with a reputable aged care provider.

Mark Moran Group is working with ARC Training (RTO: 91007) to offer excellent traineeship opportunities where candidates can gain a Nationally recognised Certificate III qualification at no cost to you. You will gain knowledge, experience and the potential for a permanent position with Mark Moran Group upon completion of the course. You would then be able to continue your education and obtain, in around 6 months, a nationally recognised qualification, the Certificate 111 in Individual Support (Ageing). On-site training opportunities are available at our facilities in the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs and South Sydney.
