It’s like living on a 5-star cruise ship, only you don’t get seasick. Everything one could desire is at hand. “We saw the advertisements in the Wentworth Courier as far back as 2014. They had morning tea gatherings at the Cruising Yacht Club (CYC) and the Royal Motor Yacht Club Rose Bay and later at Dunbar House at Watsons Bay. They had experts in their field speaking to us about Aged Care, exercise and good food. Several solicitors spoke about the fine print. Thus, all queries were answered and we bought our unit ‘off the plan’. When we moved in, it was akin to visiting a ‘Country Club’. Towels and bed linen were supplied. Having downsized and accepted the initial shock it was as if all our prayers had been answered. The Atrium is the social hub of the ‘Village’. One gets to meet new members a chat over coffee and all the world’s problems are solved. Live music is on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons which are a delight. We are very happy here as are our children and grandchildren. We have removed the fear of guilt for the day when they have to move one of us out of our new unit…"
